SSNY On The Scene: Cocktails with Belle

Last night, She's So New York attended Essence writer (and our very own SSNY woman) Demetria Lucas' event "Cocktails With Belle." The exclusive girl power networking event featured various beautiful SSNY woman meeting each other over cocktails (and dinner, like Tamela and I had) at the illustrious and trendy Grammercy spot Japonais (111 E. 18th Street (Between Park Place and Irving website).

Demetria of course,was FABULOUSLY dressed. It accompanied her warm demeanor and personality, as seen on Let's Talk About Pep and throughout her writing with "A Belle In Brooklyn."

Giving us women an opportunity to meet, converse, and potentially work with each other AND over cocktails is amazing (not to mention all of this fabulosity for a Monday evening!).

One of the highlights of the evening? A chance encounter with the absolutely (and effortlessly) beautiful, model and entreprenuer Alec Wek. After taking pictures with Alec, we left the event with a newfound appreciation for our craft and She's So New York!
